The Moon (Fancomic)

Death Note is a 2003 manga, and later anime, about something completely different than what you're about to read.
The Moon is a self-indulgent 17-page long musing about love, through the reimagening of two Death Note characters in a new setting.

The story takes place after the end of the series, and a few vague mentions are made towards plot points, so people avoiding spoilers are warned.

That said, you don't need to have read or watched Death Note to understand this comic. It is  detached from the context of the original work, containing as well a short explanation of the setting.

It exists as an expression of fondness for the characters present in it. It is, also, a love letter to the way Tarot lets us reflect and talk to each other in new ways.
